Onward Journeys to Burgundy
ARRIVING AT PARIS CHARLES DE GAULLE
For your onward journey to Burgundy the options are to hire a car or take the train. There is a TGV station at Charles de Gaulle, with a few direct connections to Burgundy (see Travel by Train). Trains for Burgundy leave the centre of Paris from the Gare de Lyon train station in the south east of the city. Some regional services run from Paris Bercy station, near the Gare de Lyon but these are slow trains. If time is not limited, a cheaper alternative is a bus from the airport to Auxerre or Dijon operated by Flixbus the intercity carriers.
Crossing Paris can be confusing so here are our hints and map.
To get from the airport to the Gare de Lyon
Take the RER B (blue) line which leaves the airport every 15 minutes from 5.30 to 23.30 daily. This will take you to the Gare du Nord. Here change onto the RER D (green) line for the Gare de Lyon.

Air France buses, now renamed Le Bus Direct, go directly to the Gare de Lyon (line 4) leaving at 30 min. intervals. This can take up to one hour, depending on the time of day and the traffic.

Take a taxi. As of March 1, 2016 taxis taking passengers to and from Paris airports will have to charge a flat rate fee. That means if you're travelling from Charles de Gaulle airport, you'll pay €55 for a trip heading anywhere on the Left Bank and €50 for anywhere on the Right Bank. Arriving at Paris Orly
Again, for your onward journey to Burgundy, the options are to hire a car or take the train from the Gare de Lyon in the centre of Paris to your onward destination.
